No overstatement. Truly one of the most ill-informed piece of witing I've ever had the misfortune of reading. The patronizing, racist, awfully researched, reactionary crap that The Guardian printed this Saturday (28th January 2006) is the sort of nonsense that will set back "Urban" music (see. Music with a black face) in this country to the status of infants. There will be a lot of people like me, truly offended and disgusted at the apparent ignorance of this article. I shouldn't give it the oxygen of publicity, but I thought, I should let the people know exactly what the opposite state of the British music scene is. Read.
