Grindie!!
There's an article up on Channel 4's website right now focussing on the current crossover between the Indie and Grime music scenes and the associated remixes. Of course it mentions Why Lout? in the article, but it's mainly about Statik who's a North London Grime producer who's really on his game right now producing remixes for Bloc Party, Ladyfuzz, Test Icicles and even producing a whole (L.P/ Mixtape?) called 'Grindie Volume 1' (Grindie = Grime + Indie if you didn't already make that connection!). Statik's even got a night coming up at KoKo in Camden, London called 'Indie Loves Grime' on March 23rd that I need to be at (I have a radio show that day. But fcuk it! I need to be at that) with Lethal Bizzle and The Ludes.
Very much associated News. Why Lout? Are currently remixing the new single by band Kalev.

For the convenience of others I've have setup an online Grindie community for people like us to discuss the birth of this hybrid style music.
I've only Just set it up, so it's not that big, but if you could, please tell others about it! I would be very thankful in return.
